Humber programs blend classroom theory with laboratory work on subjects such as electric devices and circuits, digital and programming fundamentals, power generation and distribution, electrical computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), electrical code, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and technical communications.
The most up-to date software is used to simulate the real time solutions of today’s industrial needs in all the concentrations such as Power, Process Instrumentation and PLC Controls.
Students gain hands-on experience with leading edge technologies. Labs include an extensive range of automation, robotics and control systems. Students train on modern robots (Fanuc, Motoman, Kuka, Wittman, Panasonic) and do automation welding on a state-of-the-art Panasonic welding robot.
