What:
Humber College, proudly partnering with ACCES Employment, presents this unique offering: the industry-driven, 16-week Connecting to Careers in Advanced Manufacturing Program.
Participants will earn five distinct Humber College micro-credentials, which will “stack” to acquire a certificate in Advanced Manufacturing:
- Lean Manufacturing
- Mechatronic Control Systems
- Program Logic Controllers
- Electric Motors, Actuators, and Drives
- Electric Pneumatics and Hydraulics
ACCES Employment will provide future-proofing, mentoring, coaching, and job search assistance to ensure participants effectively transition into demand-driven occupations.
This program is funded by Upskill Canada (powered by Palette Skills) and the Government of Canada.
Why:
Get trained in an in-demand occupation. This program helps mid-career workers to launch or advance their careers within the advanced manufacturing sector. The program responds to the advanced manufacturing sector’s urgent need for skilled technicians and positions program participants at the forefront of a high-demand, dynamic industry.

- July 29, 2024 – November 17, 2024
- November 25, 2024 - March 30, 2025

Online: Humber College Self-paced Academic Component and ACCES Employment modules
On campus: Labs at the North Campus, 205 Humber College Blvd (weekends)
Who:
Are you….
- Eligible to work in Canada?
- Mid-career worker?
- Interested in launching a career in the manufacturing sector?
- Self-motivated with strong goal-setting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills?
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web applications
Do you possess….
- Minimum three years of paid or volunteer work experience?
- OSSD or equivalent and Grade 12 Math?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills [equivalent to CLB 7]?
