SLD

Thank you to SLD for sponsoring the SLD + Humber 2020 Student Design Competition, in which students were given the challenge to design an incubator for the hypothetical NXT bank on Humber's campus. We appreciate SLD's generosity in providing mentorship as well as cash prizes.

Thanks to Daniel Kroft, CEO and his team for collaborating with our 4th year students on an affordable housing project. Students worked with standard shipping containers to provide innovative solutions. The Giant team shared their expertise through design review sessions and feedback. This was an invaluable experience for the students involved.

Humber Alumnus – Daniel Norwood

Daniel Norwood is a Senior Team Leader at Figure3 in Toronto. Figure3 is one of Canada's largest independent interior design firms.

Daniel graduated from Humber's Bachelor of Interior design program in 2013.  His time at Humber taught him many important skills and  prepared him for a successful career in interior design. Daniel recalls that the third-year work placement was very beneficial to him and his classmates.  It allowed them to build industry connections, network and, ultimately, land their first post-grad interior design position.
