I am an Architectural Technician and recent graduate of Humber's Bachelor of Interior design program. I have six years of experience working as a freelance designer. My work includes residential and small commercial projects. In my free time I enjoy scuba diving, and practicing my Spanish and French.
Project Overview
The Brickworks Hostel will offer an integrated space for the modern business travellers and digital nomads. A range of amenities to elevate the guest’s experience such as a snack/coffee bar, workout room, private and shared office spaces, networking and workshop areas for a great social experience along with private and shared dorms. The design layout is focused on nurturing collaborative relationships through connecting guests to enhance their creativity and networking experience.

Concept/Design Process
Floor Plans
The length of the two main hallways build an emphasis on the open fluidity of the space. Length also helps shape and create the juxtaposition of enclosed and open areas within the open concept floor plan. To provide guests with opportunities to collaboration with others (enhancing their social experiences), one of the most important design concerns was to create friendly, accessible, and appropriate work, lounge, and living spaces.
