Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning and Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) have reached an agreement that will provide an efficient path for graduates of Humber’s full-time, day, Postgraduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management Program to pursue their Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation.
"This agreement will save students time and money and as the Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) courses are offered through Continuing Education at Humber College, Alumni of our program can continue to take advantage of the benefits and services that the College offers,” said Angelo Crupi, program co-ordinator, Supply Chain Management. “Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) is one of the predominant associations in Supply Chain Management, recognized by employers and transferable to other countries”.
The CSCMP designation is an internationally accredited certification of strategic supply chain leadership, and is Canada’s most widely held designation in supply chain management. In order to grant advanced standing, Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) assesses the curriculum for each program component.
“Students who complete Humber’s program should be proud of their achievement, and consider pursuing the CSCMP as the next step to becoming a leader in the supply chain,” said Carol Ship Spencer, Director, Education Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO).
The agreement applies to graduates of the program who have obtained a minimum cumulative Program G.P.A of 3.0. The equivalencies accepted are:
