Spotlight: Rob Clark

Rob Clark

Rob is credited with developing the curriculum for the Welding/Millwright Techniques Program at the Humber Centre for Skilled Trades & Technology. With over 18 years of teaching experience, Rob is an expert in his field and is known for his easygoing nature and his great knowledge in the production industry.

Rob has over 30 years of experience within the production and maintenance industry including nuclear maintenance, production supervision, and quality control in manufacturing. Over the years, Rob has attained a total of three Red-Seal Certificates of Qualifications as a Journeyman Machinist, Industrial Millwright Mechanic, and a Journeyman Welder.

The Mechanical Techniques: Millwright program is designed to help introduce prospective millwrights to the trade. Students will gain a solid understanding of the various technical theories and elements of the trade.

Thanks to Rob’s insight, the curriculum has a significant practical component; students have access to the latest industry software and work in fully-equipped, up-to-date labs and shops. Our skilled instructors share their first-hand experiences within the industry by using real-life case studies and examples.
