The Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) has initiated their need to renovate and redesign their third floor kitchen space. Currently, the space is overcrowded with poor traffic flow, exposed storage areas and not enough usable space. They also expressed they would like to replace their existing countertop for a more durable material like stainless steel, and to replace their flooring. The proposal package for CSI include a redeveloped space plan for their kitchen, newly proposed cabinetry to conceal their storage items, sourced materials and fixtures that fit their budget, the sustainable approach of reusing as much of their existing furniture as possible, and relocating some of their existing fixtures to allow for a better traffic flow.
