Overview
This project develops an AI chatbot to support novice simulation educators in mastering the Advocacy-Inquiry (A-I) facilitation debriefing technique. A-I debriefing involves structured dialogue to explore learners' perspectives, address mistakes, and maintain a positive learning environment. However, mastering this method can be overwhelming during live workshops. This chatbot simulates debriefing discussions, enabling educators to practice in a low-stake, scalable environment. It provides authentic responses, analyzes conversations, and delivers feedback, allowing educators to refine their skills through repeated practice. This innovation bridges the gap between learning theory and peer workshops, reducing cognitive load, building confidence, and enhancing educators’ effectiveness in simulation-based education.
