Overview
The Oracle Patch website provides critical software patch information for Oracle software products, but manually extracting and organizing the relevant patch data can be a time-consuming and error-prone task. In this project, we will design and develop a web scraping application that automates this process. The application will scrape the Oracle Patch website for relevant patch information and organize it in a structured format that is easy to search, filter, and sort. The application will provide an intuitive user interface that allows users to search for patches by product, version, date, severity, and other relevant criteria. To ensure that the application is scalable and easily deployable, we will create a Docker image of the application and host it on an Amazon EC2 instance. This will allow users to easily access the application from anywhere with an internet connection and provide a reliable and efficient way to manage and maintain the application. The result of this project will be a powerful and user-friendly web scraping application that provides valuable patch information for Oracle software products in a structured and organized manner.
