Overview
This project seeks to address the critical issue of website security in the cloud-based environment by focusing on the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and obtaining the Cybersecure Canada certification. The project aims to achieve these objectives by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities, testing the website for security breaches, and collaborating with an industry partner to coordinate efforts with government agencies. The project acknowledges the significant risks that exist in cloud-based environments and recognizes the need to secure websites against potential threats to protect sensitive data and maintain business continuity. Therefore, the project's primary goal is to provide a secure cloud-based website that meets or exceeds the Cybersecure Canada certification standard. Through its comprehensive approach, the project aims to contribute to the ongoing effort to improve website security and safeguard sensitive information from cyber-attacks.
