Overview
This capstone project utilizes the Agile methodology and Scrum framework to develop a cloud-based sound analyzer application that delivers real-time and accurate noise level information for various locations. The application aims to provide users with information that empowers them to make informed decisions about their surroundings and find comfortable spaces. The project team's initial focus was on familiarizing themselves with NoSQL databases, specifically Firebase Database, before integrating the database structure into the application. The team defined the features and functions of the application and selected a technology stack that aligned with project goals. The team primarily focused on backend development and integrated Firebase Database with FlutterFlow for the frontend, creating some use-cases. The application's user interface and experience were designed and optimized, and a landing page was created for promotion purposes. The result is an accessible and user-centric application that delivers accurate and up-to-date noise level information to its users.
