Overview

It is a web application called expense assist. It helps user to keep a record of transactions by uploading daily transactions (receipt or bank statements) and converting to text and helps user to put certain transaction in the form of table using speech recognition. According to the requirements PERN Stack technology was used in the project. For the front-end react was used. React is a declarative, efficient, and flexible JavaScript library for building user interfaces. Express and Node.js were used for the back end. Express is a back-end web application framework for Node.js Node. js is a runtime environment that allows software developers to launch both the front-end and back-end of web apps using JavaScript. PostgreSQL was used for database. PostgreSQL is an advanced, enterprise class open source relational database.
