Overview

This is Puneet Singh from Group 14, and I accomplished this capstone research project I pursued at Humber College with my partner, Kabilash. This project was completed under the assistance of our PMO ‘Neil Parekh’ and sponsor ‘Anish Deepak Sattur.’ The scope of this capstone project was to undertake an in-depth audit of a sponsor’s past real-project, in our case, it was PINTO lights to measure the quantitative results comparing to all the 49 processes from all the 5 phases & 10 knowledge areas to get a set of compliance scores with the assistance of tools & techniques referred in PMBOK Guide. The most important lesson learned is that I & my partner enhanced our project management skills as all the deliverables were entirely loaded with practical work. I would really advise future capstone project managers to plan their work early enough, regularly check tip-sheets & rubrics, have professional communication with the sponsor as well as with the PMO & be mindful on his/her feedback & guidelines because the overall experience gained through this capstone research project will confidently make you a successful future project manager. In closing I would remark a quote – "To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often". So, always seek for continuous improvement and adapt changing environment as it is significant in the field of project management. Thank you everyone.
