Overview

The principal essence of the Capstone Research Project, which is carried out by the final semester students of the Project Management Program at Humber College, is to understand the real-life applications of all the knowledge areas and methodologies mentioned in the PMBOK. The students audit a project with the help of the Project Sponsor who played a key role in managing the project. By working with the Project Sponsor and learning about how they have carried out each aspect of the project, the project team members are able to understand how the PMBOK is followed in a real life project. This capstone report will act as a stepping stone for the project team members to become successful project managers in the future and have the proper knowledge of how to execute the PMBOK guidelines.
