Overview
This system is designed for the navigation of physically challenged people so that they can move freely without any help. It contains a motor driver and two sensors, IR and accelerometer to control the movement of the device and an obstacle detector to detect the dangerous hazards in front while in motion. In addition to this, a patient monitoring system is also added to the device which measures a patient’s vital body parameters such as temperature, pulse, etc. These parameters are displayed in a LCD display near them so that the care taker can monitor the values and take necessary actions if needed. Moreover, if the body parameter values exceed a threatening limit an alert message is send to the caretaker/doctor notifying that the condition of patient is critical.
