Overview
Project aiming to control home appliances and building a smart wireless-based home automation using Android application. In order to achieve this, a Wi-Fi module is used as an interface to the Arduino board at the receiver end while on the transmitter end, a GUI application on the cell phone sends ON/OFF commands to the receiver where devices are connected. By touching the specified location on the GUI, the appliances can be turned ON/OFF remotely through this technology. The loads are operated by Android mobile Application.

The idea behind the task is exceptionally basic. Interface a LED to Arduino Board. This LED must be associated over Wi-Fi inside a nearby system through smart phones or LED’s. For this, utilization of ESP8266 module and interface it to Arduino through Serial Communication. Arduino will order the ESP8266 module to get associated with a Wi-Fi network and get information from customer.

In view of the data sent by customer the Arduino will either turn ON or OFF the LED. Here, we are using buttons for controlling the LED’s by means of Wi-Fi module. The access of changing the shades of LED’s is simple as it is constrained by ESP8266 Wi-Fi module.
