Overview
The Vehicle Data Collection and Safety Response System VDCSRS will use sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude, gyroscope and an accelerometer to monitor and record readings from the cabin of the vehicle. Temperature and humidity will allow us to know if the car is too hot or cold to be in. Pressure and altitude will allow us to measure the internal pressure of the vehicle to prevent damage to the car in case of ventilation blockage or drowning and the gyroscope and accelerometer will work together to determine if a rollover has occurred.
Once this data is collected and processed the user will be able to set automatic rules to contact law enforcement or EMS. All the collected data will be sent to the database which is then read by the companion mobile application. This system will allow users to monitor their vehicles and companies to monitor their fleet of cars.
