Capstone Project

Overview

This project involves the design and automation of a key light assembly station using a KUKA robot, incorporating various elements from mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic design. The system features a vision system, Allen and Bradley plc and KUKA robot equipped with a suction cup and gripper to efficiently handle and assemble the key light components. These include a top and bottom case, two batteries, and a button. This project combines everything we've learned in our courses, including programming, mechanical design, pneumatics, and electrical systems, to create a working and efficient assembly line.
