Hello! I am a very passionate individual (for the better or the worse). I was led to design through my life; growing up, I loved creating, and illustrating ideas (usually cars) because it always brought me joy. As I have gone through the program at Humber; I have gained appreciation and an enjoyment for designing to solve problems. Automotive design is the subject within design that I am particularly motivated towards due to personal mobility being something I truly appreciate, and want people to have. Apart from mobility itself, the aesthetic and function of a good automobile is the pinnacle of proper design in my opinion, mixing all attributes of creating, through problem solving and refinement into one.I am excited for what the future holds regardless of what I might get to design.

The projects generate innovative solutions using research-driven, evidence-based designs which focus on the user experience.

Parastock utilizes simple materials, and proven methods of fabrication to ensure drivers can feel safe, comfortable and at home in their Parastock Race car. By Incorporating Hand Controls- Users will be able to control their car on the edge of reality.
Ingress/Egress assistance for users through the use of extruding/rotating seat and trunk style drivers door.
The chassis has been designed with the considerations of a hydraulic powered floor; which the seat mounts onto; allowing the seat to extrude out of the car, and spin to allow users an assisted method of ingress/egress. Adjustability through seat positioning, Controls adjustability through the use of electronic button mapping. Users can personalize their controls to what they need and/or want.
This Chassis and Roll-cage Takes inspiration from North American Late Modified, and Modified chassis set-ups.
There are obvious changes that need to be made to the common stock car setup. Physically challenged users must be able to sit-up more straight than a regular racing harness seat position would provide. The chassis needs larger crumple zones in the front and rear. The Roll-cage needs more structure to protect the driver further. Considering impacts and jarring movements, the regular 5 point harness has 2 leg straps added to the middle leg strap;in order to keep the legs in a safe position.
Racing is Inherently Unsustainable In Many Aspects. That is why it is important to design the solution; to add to the sports longevity.
The goal of Parastock is to create inclusivity, adding to the possible demographics that can race. Physically challenged people could race against other physically challenged drivers; if there was a base for this to take place. Parastock is the car for the task. The car utilizes Natural Composite Fiber for exterior body panels. Powered by a rear mounted electric motor(powering the rear wheels); paired to a front mounted battery. The system is equipped with a distilled water cooling system, which encases the battery pack.
Motorsports consist of certain classes of Race-cars, this defines the types of events they will be. The intent is to create a class of race cars for the physically challenged. Designed around the ergonomic and UX/UI needs for different types of physically challenged users. The challenges include ingress and egress for paralyzed users, as well as hand controls for anyone with lower body mobility challenges.
