Overview
The Automated Plant Care System is an IoT-based solution designed to simplify plant maintenance through automation and remote monitoring. Ideal for busy individuals or beginner gardeners, it ensures consistent care by automatically managing watering and lighting based on real-time environmental data. This promotes sustainable agriculture by minimizing water waste and maintaining optimal conditions for plant growth. The system uses an Arduino microcontroller connected to a soil moisture sensor, BH1750 light sensor, and a pH sensor. It activates a water pump and grow lights as needed, based on sensor inputs. The ESP-01 Wi-Fi module connects the system to the Blynk platform, enabling users to view data and control functions via mobile app. Sensor readings are displayed on an intuitive scale, and automation can be toggled using virtual switches for flexibility. This project showcases the practical application of embedded systems in everyday life, offering a smart, scalable approach to modern plant care.
