These clients have a family of four, a retired husband, a wife who works as a lawyer, a son who is a job seeker, and a son who is a university student who studies far away from home. They like simple and urban things. I designed their loft interior reflecting these tastes. Design inspiration was received from Canadian artists' geometric and monotonous works of art. So the shape of most furniture is generally simple. This loft design looks urban and minimal, it is also a space where emotional elements such as music and wood can create harmony among families.
European home design has evolved for centuries to encompass a unique combination of modern innovations and classic details that create a unique space. CASAMIA has taken this inspiration to create a space that communicates movement using horizontal and curved lines molding and millwork. The furniture introduces the freshness of modern design with curved, soft forms. Overall the space brings the best of the past and the future with the diverse use of brass, stone, wood, wrought iron and textiles.
The harmonious construction of various styles and sources is defined as “Eclectic”. So the garage was converted into a workroom. This garage is an art space. It is a small atelier related to so-called art, such as painting, photo gallery and musical instruments. This Atelier is a place where you can develop artistic sensibilities, hobbies, and give satisfaction and rest. The interior style of this space is motivated by French chic, which combines classic and trendy. Various styles of furniture and lighting in different shapes are arranged in harmony. This is also related to various sizes of frames installed on rails. Inspired by the straight and repetitive shape of the building, the skylight was created. The point is a gallery that has a unity in the variety of scales. It also added speciality and wit to the space by using stripe patterns, which are representative of French chic. This atelier can be summarized as ‘Mix and Match’. Although diversity coexists, it can be said that mixing and matching is a characteristic of this Atelier and this is ‘Eclectic’!
This is a residential butler’s pantry project. This space has been changed from pantry to study room for teenagers who have online classes in this pandemic situation. The overall concept of the interior is cozy and bright. For this, plants and terrazzo tile were used. There are LED under shelf light for efficient utilization of space. The main purpose of this space is a study room, but it is sometimes used by families. So I made a window seat. In this space, families can enjoy tea time.
Peace, green, refresh, nature, blue sea. Oh, Victory Ah! Single daddy and his family, who are more lively and cheerful than anyone else. There’s nothing like a bungalow as a space for active children to play. Grandmother takes care of the children instead of the dad who works as an animator. There are various spaces that reflect children’s tastes;Bed room, Bath room (marine vibe/fish niche), Toy room and Home theater. The home theater is also a space for everyone who loves movies. But the place was decorated with fairy tale interiors for his girly daughter. LED holiday lights, swing chair and artificial leaf vine maximize this atmosphere. The classic design is also added to reflect grandmother’s taste modern classic decorated by molding, wainscoting, bold shape furniture, not behind the old fashion, adds trendiness by patterned and textured rugs, wallpapers. Oh, Victory Ah! You who have a dream house like this have a VICTORY! aH!
