Before moving to Canada 4 years ago, she got a degree in international culture in Japan. One of her main interests is the relationship between design and the organization of interior contents. Also, She loves zen and minimalist design, at the same time she is detail-oriented. She is always trying to create simple but also functional, stylish, and joyful spaces.
Renovation of the side split house for the family of 5. Both parents are in their 40s and they are engineers. The lovely 3kids are 10 and 6 y.o. boy and 4 y.o. girl. The concept is lively, geometric and frame. The house is used plenty of wood material for the mother who is indigenous and holds practices and spiritual beliefs to her people. The warm and cozy atmosphere welcomes not only the family but also all guests.
The creative family of 5 was planning to renovate their kitchen to a modern and natural mood. The parents are both 40s; the father works at an advertisement company, he likes the modern design. The mother works at a hospital, she cares about the health and the environment, so she likes organic stuff. They have 3 kids: 8 y.o. girl, 4 y.o. boy and 2 y.o. girl. The old sister has multiple sclerosis. MS is an autoimmune disease, and she will gradually have some symptoms such as vision problem muscle-related symptoms, and she will be going to use a wheelchair.
Nothing but elegant. The design team worked to create a cohesive look throughout all spaces, weaving in elements of rhythm, pattern, and movement, to create a vibrant and elegant feel. The colour palette is easy on the eyes, warm neutral tones wash over the entire space through different textures, with some soft muted colours that tie together the rooms and give visual interest.
