After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in International Business she spent eight years getting professional experience in Banking as an executive advisor. Due to her success in public relationships, professional sales, and financial advising she was awarded as a Top Executive. Then, she discovered her passion for Design working in the Wedding Industry as an Event Designer. She is currently an Interior Decorator at a furniture store, helping people create beautiful spaces and making their home reflect their taste. She loves to bring her professional experience into projects where she always could constantly learn and challenge herself.

Split House Project

Some of the advantages for the family of having a split-level house is having an excellent privacy area and functionality for the family members. Especially it could be a great choice for the family who has an aging relative living with them, since dividing the space so the grandmother could have a private area for reading or resting while the family has other activities. The multiple levels of the house provide the family enough space to have their private rooms and common areas where they can enjoy family time and according to their interest and needs. Another advantage of having a split-level house gives great value to your house because it is a good choice for homebuyers looking for some separation between living areas and having the main areas of the home close together.

High Park Loft

Beautiful Loft inside the heart of High Park, Toronto. The Loft has an earthy tones palette that will make the home feel cozy and fresh. The amazing view of the park will make you always want to have the curtains open.

Inclusive Kitchen

The design goal is to demonstrate the beauty and Universal Design for an accessible Kitchen. Creating a Universal Kitchen for Anna who moves around the house in a wheelchair. She is a scientist that works in Product Development from home and occasionally entertains some friends. Anna usually orders Italian and healthy food, so the cooking area is really for her basic needs, but she enjoys hanging around the kitchen. She is familiar with the current layout, so she prefers to keep it just to include some extra space to work. The kitchen design includes plentiful clearances to make it accessible to Anna to circulate around the space. The cabinets have drawer pulls wider with larger handlers. The upper cabinets are removed, and Kitchen Island is installed with an attached table in order to be multi-functional with activities like eating, entertaining, working, and meal preparation. The kitchen has an open concept to make the design simpler and more functional. Also, it has some technology features that improves the experience like touchless faucets with sensors, Alexa devices in the kitchen, and smart lighting. The Kitchen offers the necessary turning space for mobility devices. The finishes and details include wood cabinets, white marble tiles, and stainless steel appliances and sink. The design is simply a cozy and spacious kitchen with thoughtful design details.

Loft Project

The idea of designing the Loft for the family is to provide an open space that is functional, chic, and contemporary. The open concept will be ideal for social life with family and friends. We use language through the design combining architectural features such as the grid and chaotic line with different Lines, shapes, and forms as elements of design. The furniture style is simple and elegant in a complex neutral color scheme. The contrast of materials such as wood, metal, and concrete provides an industrial and contemporary mood in the space.

Hotel Project

The original loft was lack of style and functionality. They wanted an open concept that is beautiful, chic, and sophisticated to reflect their personality and their lifestyle. The family enjoys entertaining with their celebrity friends. They wanted to pay attention to the millwork details and have a unique system to provide lighting in their space and cover it when required. The project faced some challenges with the installation of the paneling system which provide a brighter space having a unique contemporary style with a specific character. Not only does the advantage of this system provide a solution for the lighting, creating a unique design with shades and shadows which reflects the patterns on the ground but also it could be closed and cover the light for the privacy purpose. The paneling system is one of the favorites features of the final design. The loft was inspired by the industrial and contemporary style incorporating contrasting materials such as wood, metal, and concrete to create the desirable industrial feeling. The furniture style is simple and elegant in a complex neutral color scheme. In this project, we achieved the main requirements for this creative and modern family with the functionality of the spaces, a unique paneling system, modern and urban style of each zone which reflects the personality of family members at the same time.
