Gabriela Sosa

Gabriela’s motto is “no rules — no market sector, site, material, or product is off limits for her For me, good design realizes the potential of any space. It involves considered choices teamed with a sense of bravery. As a designer, I have a strong understanding of how interiors come together, from the architecture of a space to the furniture and soft furnishings that fill it. Colour palette, material choice and finishes are all equally important - each element is essential to creating one cohesive look that is both resolved and innovative.

Kitchen Home Renovation

“A room should never allow the eye to settle in one place “ This project had as a focal point the wall paintings of the artist Voroshilov Bazante. The principle of design was the line, movement, rhythm and pattern. Each space keeps the essence of the concept, from the millwork to the furniture and the ceiling detail. The colour palette is neutral however each zone has a touch of colour with a different element of design to give more life and make each space more dynamic and to catch the attention of the user.

Retro Style Garage

From the front door to the back wall., this garage has a fresh new take on Modern Retro Style! The furniture has an abstract feel to it, with each piece almost fighting for the limelight as the focal point of the room. However, the focal point of the space are the orange walls. Those have a 3D texture with organic shapes that convey a sensation of movement and continuity. Also, the space has a mix of textures like wood, mosaic tiles, bricks and glass finishes. The colour palette is very dominant based on terracotta colours.

Loft Design

Design is really about understanding a problem, or a goal. Then it's about testing the solutions, and refining the options to find the most appropriate solution. The concept of the project has been designed based on the line, the rhythm, the grid and the movement. The focal point of the project are the stairs that has some vertical elements, that work as a room divider between the private and social area. But at the same time it creates a visual connection.
