Creative and positive are two words that describe me best. I’ve always been passionate about designing spaces that bring joy to people. Helping people using my creative skills is the truly why I love being an interior designer.
This project is a group work designing the townhouse in the neighborhood Annex. My assigned floor is the 'Third floor'. Together, the team designed a clean, neutral, and bright home - purposefully simple to celebrate the originality of the Annex by allowing people to experience the neighborhood through large, framed, “stage-like” windows, thereby celebrating the neighborhoods’ theatrical history and joining together the old and new.
When you walk into this house, you can feel the joyful and vibrant mood with bright colours and curved lines. The contrast of yellow and blue colours attracts attention and brightens the space. Also, arched lines make the space more dynamic and playful.
I changed the outdoor garage into an ‘Explosive’ band practice area. You can feel the dynamic, powerful mood when you walk into this space. The horizontal lines are stretching out through the wall with geometric shapes and lines. The wall lights along with the wood frame and the lighting above the lounge area give an explosive feeling.
This is my accessible kitchen project. My client is a creative family of 6 living in a 4 bedroom house and one of them is in a wheelchair so I needed to consider all the clearances and 7 principles of Universal Design. I wanted the overall mood to be neat and calm.
