My name is Marina Trouboul. I'm an interior decorator based in Toronto, Canada. In my home country, Argentina, I graduated as an Architect and I did an M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration).I have wide experience in residential and commercial projects. I love designing beautiful spaces, and at the same time meeting budgets and deadlines for each project. I seek to design functional and unique spaces for each client.
Humber's new Barret Centre for Technology Innovation will be a place for faculty, students and industry tackle real business challenges and find innovative solutions. The project consists of designing a hotel room interior inspired by Canadian artists. Adjectives: Refined, Homey, Relaxed, Natural & Modern.
The project is the renovation of a kitchen contemplating the principles of Universal Design. The kitchen had to be redesigned for a couple of teachers in their mid 50's, one has severe arthritis in his joints, and they have two grandchildren who visit them often. Adjetives: Artless, Nature, Accents & Light.
The project consists of renovating a loft in Mid Town, Toronto. The client is a 37-year-old Social Media Content Creator and Hair Stylist who loves everything to do with movies. They have an 8-year-old child who has a passion for Sports and loves to bake. They have regular movie and sport nights together where they invite all sorts of friends over to join as well. The concepts worked on were translucency, as an element of division between the public, the semi-private and the private, colour, the different types of light and fashion/trends. Adjetives: Translucent, Colourful, Light & On Trend.
The Project consisted of the modeling and interior design of a Cottage without a specific client; the furniture, materials, details and the video were part of the assignment for the Digital Communication course. Modeling was done in SketchUp and rendering and video in Enscape.
In this section I share some drawings I made for the Interior Styles, History of Furniture and Studio courses. In these sketches I use different hand drawing techniques and digital tools.
