Program Overview

Advances in technology continue to make it easier for us to work, live and communicate with each other every day, and electronic devices have played a major role in how technology affects our lives.

Humber’s Electronics Engineering Technician diploma program emphasizes electronic products, control systems and telecommunications, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.  You’ll learn from industry-connected faculty about coding, interfacing, networks, wireless, programmable logic controllers (PLC), industrial electronics and troubleshooting techniques including how to embed circuits into smart devices, industrial equipment and consumer products.

You’ll also build and test circuit boards, learn electronics fabrication, program PLCs and design embedded systems in our state-of-the-art labs and prototyping facility using advanced software and Augmented Reality (AR) systems.
