Chocolate makes the world go round. Especially if it’s a chocolate Ferris Wheel!
Interdisciplinary teams of Humber faculty and students have come together to push boundaries and find new, innovative ways to create unique pieces of functional delicacies!
Teams from the Longo Faculty of Business, Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design and BCTI worked with a FAST industrial design student to experiment with design software to create chocolate moulds, stamps and 3D animation.
This ongoing research project explores new and different crossdiscipline learning opportunities and emerging technologies that engages culinary arts, industrial design, 3D animation and graphic design.
This delicious initiative has led to creating a functioning, chocolate Ferris Wheel followed by the Gooey Cookie Co. research project complete with hand-made, chocolate filled cookies and the Ooey Gooey mascot that comes to life with Augmented Reality.
We can’t wait to see more ooey, gooey, goodness!
