Industrial Design Third Year Students Design for Modern Living in Umbra/Humber Studio Project

Umbra’s theme this year was “Giftable Outliers”. The goal was to push Umbra to explore new categories and new ideas while also developing an item that could be gifted. Students needed to understand their market deeply, and design something that would truly stand out.

  • First Place - Daniel Rowland
    • Bellwood-inspired Bladeless Fan “Level of execution was exceptional, excellent details about manufacturing”
  • Second Place – Bianca Fraser
    • The Duet Rack “instant fit to the existing Umbra line”
  • Third Place – Konnor Luciani
    • Ollas “an outlier, unique idea”
