Humber is preparing the next generation of engineering leaders with programs that blend classroom theory with project-based and work-integrated learning, set in Humber’s state-of-the-art facilities. Our students graduate career-ready with the critical-thinking and hands-on skills to address today’s global challenges.

Common First-Year

  • Humber’s Bachelor of Engineering programs begin with a common first-year of courses that provide foundational engineering knowledge and skills.
  • In the second year, move into your engineering discipline: Mechatronics Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or Sustainable Building Engineering.
  • In the third year, choose one of two innovative specializations in your discipline.

Industry-Based Curriculum

  • Students will learn using industry-standard, advanced technology.
  • Project-based learning in every semester, culminating in the final-year (8 month) capstone project.

  • A co-op work program (three consecutive work terms, 420 hour each) provides students with a contextual understanding of the industry and specific sectors they are training for.

  • Taught by professors with industry experience.
  • Close Industry partnerships with Javelin Technologies Inc., Cisco Systems Canada Co., DMG MORI Canada Inc., Festo Didactic Inc., KUKA Robotics Canada Inc., Rockwell Automation Inc., SEW-EURODRIVE Company of Canada Ltd., and SICK Sensor Intelligence.

With more than 50 programs offered across a span of applied technology industries we are preparing our students for careers of the future. Academic theory blended with applied learning provides a strong educational foundation, while state-of-the-art facilities, work placements, and apprenticeships provide experiential learning in the classroom, and in the industry.
