We have a fully equipped network cabling shop where we install network and fibre optics, cable pathways, and perform cable terminations and testing.

Canada, where telecommunications began, has been on the forefront of every major technological advance since. Highlights include the world’s first commercial telephone system, first nationwide digital data network and among the world’s most advanced fibre optic communications networks. Lay the groundwork for a career with construction firms, telecommunications carriers, network installation companies, data centre networks and electrical/electronic products companies.
Ontario Certificate of Qualification Trade Exam
Apprentices completing the required in-school training are issued a Certificate of Apprenticeship from Humber College. Upon successful completion of in-school and on-the-job training, apprentices may write the Ontario Certificate of Qualification trade exam.
Additional requirements may apply.
Note: The requirements for the additional credential(s) are determined by the granting body, which is independent from the College. Students are encouraged to obtain the specific requirements directly from the granting body before enrolling.

Each year, Humber employees are asked to support United Way of Greater Toronto, through regular payroll deductions, one-time donations or by participating in fundraising activities.
