Humber School of Applied Technology student Ingino Teolis has partnered with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority to conduct greenhouse research to examine the effect of salt and fertilizer on the establishment of native plants.
Ben Doerksen and Lynn Short worked on this project from May to August 2016. They cleared away the dead stalks from the previous year and marked out the sections to be tested then compared different cutting strategies to the control section that was left undisturbed.
