WE ARE SKILLED TRADES & APPRENTICESHIPS

Skilled trades play an important role in our economy and Canada currently faces a critical shortage of skilled workers. Skilled tradespeople will be increasingly in demand due to the rapid pace of technological changes, government-funded infrastructure projects and the retirement of many current workers in the field. We may also see a push for Canada's infrastructure of the future to be "smart." That is, built with integrated information and communication technologies and internet of things (IoT) capabilities. In the future, the skilled trades are going to matter more than ever.

SAT’s Skilled Trades programs and Apprenticeship training will continue to provide students with the in-school and hands-on experience they need to become a successful tradesperson and play a critical role in the industry sectors our school supports: Construction, Manufacturing and ICT.
