Q1: How can I register?

A: The registration for the course is conducted online. Learners will need to have a Humber College student number to register online, or they can enroll by phone (416.675.3111).

Q2:  I believe I have completed all the required courses for my Certificate. How do I receive my certificate?

A: Certificates of Accomplishment can be viewed and printed through the Learner Portal on Learners with a certificate in ‘Completed’ status will be able to access their certificate from the Learner Portal. Please click on the following link to view your certificate:

Q3: I’m taking an online course. How can I access the course materials?

A: If you are taking an online course at Humber College, you will use the Humber Blackboard learning platform. This learning platform is your online classroom, main location to communicate with your instructor, receive course announcements and course site as a hub of information. This is where you will find your course outline, class materials and meet your fellow students and instructor.

Q5: I am thinking of going back to school. What resources are available to me?

A: Humber offers financial aid including scholarships and bursaries, bridging programs for international professionals, Second Career services, and a large number of student services.

Q6: I have taken similar courses at another institution. Can they be applied to my certificate?

A: You may be eligible for transfer credits from a previous institution or if you have acquired significant experience outside of formal education. Please note that there is a submission fee, and it is not guaranteed that you will receive credit through your application. 

Visit v2.pdf for the Transfer Credit Application. Applications should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar four weeks prior to the start of the semester.  You will be required to provide full course outlines, as well as an official transcript, along with your application.
