Course: Sustainable Building and Energy Systems in Denmark

Join us for an unforgettable two-week study abroad program at Dania Academy in Randers, Denmark. Humber students will experience a mix of academic activities, visits to district and renewable energy facilities, complemented by cultural and social activities.

Sustainable Energy and Building Technology & Architectural Technology students are eligible to receive academic credit for one program course.

Bursary of up to $1,000 for eligible students!

Denmark is one of the Nordic countries and considered to be one of the happiest countries in the world. It is recognized as a global leader in sustainable energy systems and their connection to the built environment. Humber students will experience a mix of academic activities, campus workshops, visits to renewable and district energy facilities, and explore Samso, and 100% renewable energy island of 4,000 people.


Included:

  • Accommodation in Randers at Tradium College Dorms including breakfast and dinner from May 4 - 17, 2019
  • One-night accommodation in Copenhagen on May 17, 2019 - twin rooms
  • Transportation between Copenhagen and Randers
  • Travel health insurance for the program dates, arranged by Humber
  • Summer tuition fees are waived and normal tuition will be due for the Fall 2019 semester

Not Included:

  • Round trip airfare (book your own flights)
  • Lunches and some meals
  • Incidentals and spending money
  • Baggage and trip cancellation insurance (if desired)
  • Students who are not Canadian citizens may be required to apply for an entry visa
  • Humber transfer credit fees ($25.00 per course, upon completion)
